Privacy policy
We only ask for what we need to make and deliver your order, and we never sell your details.
Last updated 2 November 2026
The short version
- We use your details to make, deliver and talk to you about your order. That’s it.
- Payments are handled by Square: we never see or store your card number.
- We only send news or offers if you tick the box to say yes, and you can stop them any time.
- No advertising trackers or tracking cookies on this website.
- Ask us any time to see, correct or delete your details.
What we collect
- When you order: your name, email, mobile, the delivery address and notes, and what you ordered, including any card message and dietary choices.
- If it’s a gift: the recipient’s name and, if you give it, their phone number, so we can find them on the day.
- When you send an enquiry: the details of your occasion, your idea, any dietary needs, and an inspiration photo if you add one.
- Gift cards: your name and email, the recipient’s name and email, and your message.
- Payments: Square handles them. We see the amount and whether it went through, never your card number.
If you tell us about an allergy or health need, we use it only to make your order safely. Please only give us someone else’s details (a gift recipient’s, say) if they’d be happy for us to have them for that delivery.
How we use it
- To make and deliver your order, and contact you or the recipient about it on the day.
- To send the emails that go with an order: confirmation, a reminder, “on its way”, a thank-you, refunds.
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote.
- To keep the records a business has to keep (sales, refunds).
Who else sees it
We use a few trusted services to run the business. Each only gets what it needs:
- Square: payments, invoices, gift cards and our customer records.
- Cloudflare: hosts this website and stores enquiries and orders.
- Resend: sends our emails. Twilio: sends text messages, if we use them.
- Google Maps: checks your delivery address and distance at checkout.
- Anthropic (Claude): helps us draft quotes for custom enquiries. It sees the details of your enquiry (not your payment details), and doesn’t use them to train its models.
Some of these services store information outside Australia (mainly in the United States). We choose services with strong security and privacy commitments. We never sell your details or share them for anyone else’s marketing.
Emails and news
Order emails come with every order. News, seasonal menus and offers are different: we only send them if you’ve ticked the box to say yes, and every one has an unsubscribe link that works straight away. A thank-you or review request after your order isn’t marketing, and we only send one.
This website
There are no advertising trackers or tracking cookies on this site. Your cart is saved in your own browser so it’s still there when you come back; it isn’t sent to us until you check out. Our hosting keeps standard technical logs (like any website) to keep it running and secure.
If you came here by scanning the code on one of our letterbox postcards or flyers, one a local business gave you, or a link in one of our ads, emails or posts, we count the visit (which postcard, business or link, and the day, nothing about you), and your browser remembers it for 30 days. If you then order or send an enquiry, that's saved with it, so we know what worked and can thank the business that sent you.
How long we keep it
We keep order and payment records for as long as the tax rules require (generally five years). Enquiries that don’t go ahead, and inspiration photos, are deleted when they’re no longer needed. Ask us and we’ll delete anything we don’t have to keep.
Seeing, fixing or deleting your details
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it: contact us atInstagram. We’ll reply within 30 days, usually much sooner. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your details, tell us first and we’ll try to fix it; you can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
